Quadratini Magici Sideboard. Aoi Huber Kono for Laurameroni.

For the author, this decoration represents small colourful squares resembling bright stars on a pleasant night. An evocative decoration thus makes this sideboard unique and at the same time inspiring.

Quadratini Magici

Quadratini Magici

Born in Tokyo in 1936, Aoi grew up in a vibrant and creative environment that sparked her interest in graphics.

A master of creating exceptional creative graphics, the artist works on designs for fabrics, scarves, tiles, ceramics, toys, illustrations, and carpets.

In "Quadratini Magici," the color used with ease, the irregularly square shapes, the rhythmic divisions that change direction and movement, reveal a harmonious interaction of two cultures, the Eastern and the Western. In the credenza, the elements that characterize the entire work of Aoi Huber Kono stand out: color, movement, creativity.

The modern inlay is a mosaic of different woods freely combined to reproduce an original design, making use of inserts, embossments and contemporary geometric effects.

Intarsia Collection

Intarsia Collection

The Intarsia Collection was created to appreciate and relive the local tradition of an ancient technique: that of inlay. A product designed to be reproduced in a limited edition and in numbered pieces, signed and certified by the artists and craftsmen themselves.

Intarsia also represents direct contact with simple and pure raw materials, taking shape through the manual skill and scrupulous dedication of our craftsmen, reinvented and modernized by the imagination and experience of our designers.

The sideboards of the Intarsia Collection are design furniture transformed into real paintings.
