Sideboard E.T.1. Emilio Tadini for Laurameroni.
This sideboard, thanks to inlay technique, represents one of the artistic creation of Emilio Tadini reproducing a unique painting in which the bright colours emphasize the expressiveness of the faces portrayed. The result is a sideboard which is at the same time a unique piece of art, designed for the most sophisticated clients.
Emilio Tadini is considered one of the most original characters of the post-World War II cultural debate in Italy and is an exponent of an art populated by a surreal atmosphere in which literary, dreamlike elements, characters and everyday objects converge. In fact, in his works the laws of space and time, as well as those of gravity, are totally canceled.
Reading the concept expressed by the E.T.1 sideboard, as well as all his works, requires tools of a conceptual nature.
The apparently simple and immediate images hide multiple meanings, expressing the most introspective and personal, sometimes intellectual, political and critical variants of British Pop Art.
The modern inlay is a mosaic of different woods freely combined to reproduce an original design, making use of inserts, embossments and contemporary geometric effects.
Discover the Intarsia Collection, a series of limited edition inlaid sideboards realized thanks to a collaboration with internationally renowed artists and designers.
The Intarsia Collection was created to appreciate and relive the local tradition of an ancient technique: that of inlay. A product designed to be reproduced in a limited edition and in numbered pieces, signed and certified by the artists and craftsmen themselves.
Intarsia also represents direct contact with simple and pure raw materials, taking shape through the manual skill and scrupulous dedication of our craftsmen, reinvented and modernized by the imagination and experience of our designers.
The sideboards of the Intarsia Collection are design furniture transformed into real paintings.
