Our velvet fabrics should be dry cleaned. Deep cleaning and stain removal should only be performed by an expert. We recommend professional cleaning every four to five years, depending on the wear and color of the velvet. However, it may not always be possible to completely remove signs of wear.
Avoid acids, alkaline cleaners, stain removers, shoe creams, solvents, floor wax, cosmetics, and other harsh cleaning agents. Do not use abrasive agents, steel wool, or pot cleaners. Protect the product from abrasion, moisture, and other damaging factors.
Regularly brush with a soft brush, following the fabric's grain. Remove dust and dirt with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a soft-bristled upholstery nozzle, avoiding ridges or sharp edges. If necessary, clean with a damp suede cloth, applying light pressure and following the fabric's grain.
