Aldo Rossi was an Italian architect and architect theorist. He graduated from the Politecnico University in Milan in 1959 to then follow the academic career and soon become a regular professor in Milan and in Venice and, later, in Zurich and in the U.S.A.
He carries out his main works in Germany, Italy, Holland, England, USA and Japan, among which we mention: Carlo Felice Theater of Genova, Bonnefanten museum of Maastricht, Holland and the Isolato Schutzenstrasse in Berlin, Germany.

Aldo Rossi saw the city as the sum of all eras, of all the architectural styles present up to then. There were many archetypes used by Rossi during his career and their beauty lies in their easy recognition by everyone.
