Freedom Intarsia Limited Edition

Intarsia Limited Edition

Sideboard with brushed metal legs, inlaid doors and structure. Fitted with push-pull doors and one internal shelf, it is also available in the hanging version.

Freedom sideboard is produced in a Limited Edition of 33 multiples only.

To combine the purity of the shape with the full creativity of decor: an exercise of style “in the manner of Gigli” who reinterpreted the traditional console, turning it into a magic box. The rigorous two-door parallelepiped, supported by almost invisible feet, has been embellished through inlay work, thus becoming a real poster of wood-art: graffito-cries like “freedom”, “love”, “peace” wrap up the furniture in a spiral of cheerful restlessness in red and black. The red background is therefore decorated with black words, while the interiors are fully red. That is to say a brush-stroke by Andy Warhol on the essential furnishing of a Confucian essay.

Gigli's manifesto: Freedom and Love

Romeo Gigli is an Italian fashion designer.
His childhood is steeped in the history of art and antique books thanks to the profession of booksellers of his father and grandfather. He educates as an architect and spends four years living in Ibiza before moving to Milan.

Collaborator of Carla Sozzani, employer of Alexander McQueen, designer acclaimed by the Los Angeles Times. There are many successes of the designer.
The name Romeo Gigli is associated with a poetic approach transmitted by a perfect idea of style and elegant photographs of fragile, evanescent, androgynous, ethnic, princely, distant women.

In a new romantic vision, Gigli combines the purity of forms with the extraordinary creativity of decoration: an exercise in style that reinterprets our traditional sideboard by transforming it into a magical box.
Gigli exclusively creates for Laurameroni a painting that is also a poster and a manifesto. A graffiti decoration wrapping and giving character to the sideboard in a continuous spiral.
